the Walton County Emergency Radio Club, Inc. / Walton County Georgia ARES. It was pointed out by Tom, K8ERV that most people are unfamiliar with the IRS and it's policies on taxable donations. In light of Tom's e-mail, please note that the IRS has set forth guidelines on what you can and can not claim on your taxes, both as an individual and as a corporation. In general, you must itemize your tax return, and your donation must value over $250. There are more stringent guidelines on deducting lesser donations, and the IRS makes it fairly complicated, so I have attached the following IRS information guide in PDF format for those of you wishing further information.
